The curves, the bumps, the corners and contours. Figure painting. The study of the body is so challenging. It is fascinating and intimidating and wonderful all at the same time! To be real, and give an impression without telling all-it pushes me artistically and personally-if they can even be separated. This was a different and unique perspective. I could have moved my position to get a “dead on” view of the model, but that was not nearly as interesting.
