Painting figures is always an incredible and very personal challenge. Flesh is deceptively colorful. It appears to be “just cream or “just mocha” or perhaps tan or brown. Regardless of the ethnicity of the person, skin colors are complex and have shades turquoise, vibrant violets, oranges and other hues in them. What fun it is to paint the human figure!
