There were many beautiful sights all around the archipelago in this central Mediterranean area. Water, boats, culture, history, people, and laundry. Yes, laundry! You could not help but see laundry hanging in the breeze almost everywhere you went. This beautiful place runs at a less than hurried pace, and with few dryers for those in a rush. Each day when I was there I would hang my laundry out over the balcony and let the sun and wind dry it at a speed all its own. It is a lovely reminder of how to enjoy, and not resent some of the simpler tasks of life.
